Re: Patchogue floral
I got my headpiece and veil there, and while the price is cheap, the quality is great! Try to stay away on a Saturday though... the lines and crowd could kill you!

Re: Patchogue floral
Jennrenee, thanks thats good news, did you look anywhere else for veils? Just dont really know what cheap is I have nothing to compare it to other than tri county flea market which was 240$ for cathedral, fingertip/elbow, and blusher veils with the ribbon edging and rhinestone accents and I thought that was alot! I will definetly check them out during the day on a weekday to avoid the crowd, I am out of work so Im home during the day anyway. Thanks again!

Re: Patchogue floral
I looked at a lot of bridal shops to get ideas before I went to Patchogue Floral, and the type of head piece and veil I wanted was on average, about $300 total. I got my headpiece for $80, and my veil for $60 at PF. I hope that gives you an idea of 'cheap'!

Re: Patchogue floral
I had looked around for the past two months before I found my headpiece at PF, about two weeks ago. I am very happy with it. It cost me about $40 and I had seen others upwards to $600 at salons that looked the same to me. Also, the girls were very helpful and I could try on as many as I wanted without feeling pressured (I went during the week, not a Saturday). And even though they said it usually takes 4 weeks to get them in (the ones they don't have in back), it came in a week!
I bought my veil at David's Bridal. It was a little expensive ($125) but it is fingertip length with pearls and trim. The veils at PF looked just as nice.

Re: Patchogue floral
Just another plug for PF...
My girlfriend odered her headpiece (a crystal crown) from them in February for her May wedding. It was supposed to be in in 4 - 6 weeks. It ended up being on back order, and PF was in contact with her constantly as it got closer to the wedding and the crown still hadn't arrived. Finally, 2 weeks before her wedding, they asked her to come in and choose another piece as a back up, just in case. They told her not to consider cost and just choose what she liked, that if it cost more than the original they didn't want the difference. So she picked another (still had her heart set on the crown), and went home. 2 days before the wedding, they finally got the crown, and stayed there later than closing to wait forher to pick it up.
I thought that was excellent customer service!

Re: Patchogue floral
Also try FantasyLand also in Patchogue. They also have tons of headpieces and lots of veils. Very inexpensive. They said most on in stock also.

Re: Patchogue floral
Isn't Patchogue Floral and Fantasyland kinda the same place? I was there about 2 months ago and they have everything there. Great place, but closed on Sundays just to let you know so you don't waste a trip. When I went I didn't see and crystal type of tiaras. They had other type of headpieces like material type ones and headbands, but wasn't sure if they also sold crystal type.
