Does everyone have great things to say about them...except me?
They just called to tell me my albums are in.. and are closed.. and tomorrow they are closed too--- so Monday I can get them
Why not call Monday?? Why make me think about them the whole weekend??
Thanks Patken

Re: Patken....
Wow, your albums are in already? How long did it take for them to come in?

I met Patken at a food tasting -- loved his work but I seriously disliked him. He made some comments I didn't care for.

Re: Patken....
I handed my proofs and video pictures in May . My album is now ready. Video will be on October
I would urge no one to use them.

Re: Patken....
3 months for an album isn't that bad at all. There are a lot of people who don't even get their proofs in 3 months.

You dont want anyone to use them bc they called as soon as the albums are in? thats a little odd. . . they probably just called as soon as they came in. . . maybe if they had called the day they reopened you would have needed more time to plan ahead and pick them up
i can understand your frustration though but some people havent received PROOFS at three months!

Re: Patken....
I just feel that when a company says something they should follow through. 4-6 weeks should be 4-6 weeks.
I have had nothing but issues.
I didn't realize other places waited longer for proofs/ albums.
This isn't one of those magazine ones though-- its a normal one. I dont know, when i went to 'ok' the pictures, they said 2 weeks,...fast forward to 5 weeks and a phone call that I was REALLY excited about- only to be told I have to wait until Monday. I guess I was just disappointed?

Re: Patken....
they told me 4-6 weeks for a traditional album, the proof of the album had taken approx. 4 weeks to get me after I had picked my pics.
I just sent my approval in on Friday so we shall see. The video did take longer then the contract had said but by only one week. So far no major issues with patken for myself. But I think they gave you wrong time lines for when you ordered it and that was stupid on their part and to TOTALLY agree with you. They say yes your blah blah is ready but we are closed for two days so you have to wait. They should just wait till they open so your not sitting there waiting IoI

I understand that I didnt even realize it would come that quickly to be honest i thought I would have to wait like six months!
I know it gets annoying though - they misunderstood my handwriting on the enlargements so I STILL dont have my parent pictures and even though it was kind of my fault for hte sloppy handwriting I just cant wait to be done with anything wedding related LOL

It may also have taken some time because it is a busy time of year for photographers

Re: Patken....
Wow- 4-6 weeks for an album! I was told 3-4 months! I can understand though if your wedding is earlier in the year when they are not as busy. I just want the clock to start ticking on when I can get the disk with the pics.

we first encountered some photogs at a wedding showcase from patken and did not care for them, at least the people representing them.
Later we had the opportunity to do more research and decided they were perfect for us.
As our wedding day approaches I am confident we made a great choice.
I am saddened by the fact they made you uncomfortable.
