Patken Brides

Patken Brides

I went to look at Patken, and the estimate they gave me was for a 36 picture wedding album. My thought was that a 36 picture album is small. They told me that it is cheaper for the bride to upgrade after the wedding (which doesn't make sense to me).

I was wondering what packages most brides chose and if a 36 picture album is enough pictures. I really like Patken's work, but I'm really undecided on this.

Please help!

Many thanks.

I am not a Patken Bride but 36 seems to be not little, most albums now a days have 75-100 photos in them

I wouldn't say it was 'cheaper' but you don't have to pay for it in advance... you know?

You pay 2/3 up front and the last 1/3 when your proofs arrive. If you like your proofs, then add more to your wedding album. If not, you didn't loose any money by just adding pictures to add pictures.

I booked Patken and went with a 30 picture album. When your proofs come in they offer you 1/2 off extra pictures if you order within 2 weeks of your proof pick up....however you have to pay $6 per page to add to your album and that is for one side always thought a page had TWO sides hmmmm......on the flip side of this my photographer specifically told me that it was cheaper to get a bigger album to start with then to add later. DH and I were fine with the 30 pic album and since we got all the proof we're just going to scan them in and print out anything that we want.
