Has anyone sat down with their assigned photographer to discuss must take photos or anything else? If so, how far in advance did you do this?

I think you only do it a couple of months before the wedding.

not yet, they told us after we do the 'engagement' pictures that they 'evaluate' you and choose your photographer.
