Just wondering...I booked with Patken...any idea how many proofs we should get? I asked and they told me about 800 but now I am hearing otherwise. Getting nervous...any insight would be much appreciated!

That sounds about right. My wedding is coming up, so I don't know from my wedding, but my sister used them last year and it was close to that amount.

if I remember correctly they said that there was no specific number..how many I want...I didn't have anything specifically written in the contract though..I thought it was standard for them

I don't know if I'm questioning it just b/c I'm talking to other brides who just got married and tell me they had 1200-1400 proofs and I'm like...reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllly?
Now, I know I don't need 25 of the same picture, but still...photography was the most important thing to me and now I'm panicking...but, I'm also entering panic-mode about everything, so not sure if this is just creeping into that.
As for the engagement shoot with Patken...I loved it and had fun...but, the pics were all in weird sizes...so even when we bought the CD, we couldn't easily re-print them and I found that a bit annoying...anyone else?

how much was the cd if you remember? Do you get to choose your pictures on the cd that you want to purchase or are they all the proofs from the shoot?

I would check your contract again and then call them or go in and ask to explain it again to you...afterall..you are paying them ALOT of money for this and you deserve to know what you are getting

I think anywhere from 300-400..I was just looking at FSIL's proof's tonight from PATKEN and they were more than enough! They are all beautiful and as far as I'm concerned they'll capture all the moments necessary so I'm not worried

We did our e pics with them a couple of months ago.. this pics came out good!

I got somewhere around 500, maybe a little more. It's more than enough. I had a hard enough time choosing for my album, I couldn't imagine having to pick from over 1000 pictures.

My friend just got hers back from them and there were 275 in two albums.
