Patken e pic question

hey i just booked Patken last night

my FH can only take time off work in the dead of winter - so we are going to have to take our e pics in their studio in Lindenhurst

I absolutely LOVE their work so I'm not worried about that at all. . . has anyone been to their indoor studio and maybe can you tell me what it's like? Or post some pics?

THANK YOU!!!

PS- FH wants to wait until it snows and take pictures outside in our coats since our theme is snowflakes . . .

besides the logistics of setting up an e shoot exactly when there is snow on the ground. . . how beautiful will i look with a red runny nose! lol he is too funny sometimes!

thanks ladies!!!

i guess it doesnt matter where you are because they are pretty tight shots of your face

but both of you have beautiful pictures - thanks for sharing with me!

i feel better now - i felt like i was missing out by only having indoor pics but they great so who cares!

We actually wanted to take our e-pics on the beach, but they said they only do them in the studio...so hopefully the studio will be nice, we are taking them at the end of August...I will let you know how they go

They take the same e-pics with every client. They shoot about 12 pictures in about 3-5 minutes and only of the faces. I thought we were going to use some of the nice props they had int he studio so I got all dressed up - not aworth it. After the 3-5 minutes you have to wait about 20 minutes before you see your pictures on a computer. You pic out one you what as an 10x10 and go home. I wanted all the pictures, so I had to pay an extra $50 for 5x5.

Good to know thanks! I wish we had the option to go somewhere though. But I guess if they're only palnning on taking a dozen pics it's not worth the trip for them. Oh well, FH will be happy it's quick and painless!

Re: Patken e pic question

yeah FH will be so happy to hear that news! lol

but i am thinking it isnt a 'traditional' e pic shoot - which usually run around $1000 its really supposed to just give them an idea of how you photograph, kind of like a trial run. . . so maybe if you want to pay for a whole e shoot i am sure it would run differently??

Thanks for all the information ladies!

Re: Patken e pic question

FH and I just met with them last week....they told us they took about 30-40 different shots and that you can go to a site, but it costs $250.00. A friend of mine from work is using them, they went to the office, but took the pics outside... You can't tell, but she's next to a jiffy lube building...but they look nice...it's just trees in the background. You should ask them though about the # of pics you take...they told us more.
