Patken further resolution

Hi. I haven't posted in a while. After the wedding, work got very crazy. But, I just returned from Patken to discuss how we could fix the photo's that I was unhappy with.
Doug was very professional, and explained the reason for many of the issues I had. It appears that the squinting (my biggest gripe) was unavoidable due to the quality of the light that day, and my propensity to be sensitive to the light (the first I've heard of this, but you learn something new everyday). Many of the outdoor photo's will be better when blown up, as our eyes will open more.

As for the ceremony shots, it appears that there was no way to shoot from the angle I had wanted or expected due to other things in the background, as well as the fact that a side shot would take at least one of us out of focus upon blowing it up.

Over all, Doug is working very hard to resolve our issues, and make our album what we want. He has stood behind Steve 100%, explaining his actions and decisions. (I find this to be very admirable in a boss.)

After listening to Doug's explantions, I now have a better understanding of why Steve did what he did. I may have been a little hard on him before hearing the reasons behind the shots.

Once we recieve our album, I'll let you know how we feel.

thanks for the input, we brides appreciate this. we are using patken and i requested steve because i love his work, very different. i can understand the squinting issue. my fiance is super sensitive to bright sun (he NEEDS his shades) and that day he can't have them obviously, so if he squints once, i'll have to beat him so he doesn't do it again for the rest of the day lol!
i feel confident in my choosing steve. i am due to take e pics soon. i'll let you know how they come out, i'll even post them.

We are using patkin for our September wedding as got a little nervous with the negative posts a while back. I always thought Doug was professional and I trust him to make your album (& mine) beautiful.
Please let us know when you get your album!!!
I don't know who my photographer will be, because we still haven't gone for out engagement shoot yet!! Better hurry before it's too late!! (trying to time make-up trial with photo shoot)
