girllss!! so i was waiting to hear from patken who my photographer was n in the mean time im like let me just call bc i wanna request steve or vinny...
i called yesterday and steve was booked and i said i wanted vinny so the guy said someone would call me back today to discuss it..n i get a voice mail saying just wanted to let you know your photographer for your wedding is NICK??
who is nick??? has any girls every heard of anyone who has had him for their wedding???
i love patken and im sure any photographer they have is a great but id just feel better to know someone had him...i was debating on calling and say id rather have vinny ...they said i can meet with nick n stuff but obv im not gonna say no to the guys face after they already said hes mine for the day ahhh idkk

well when i called i just requested vinny...i guess ill call them back should i ask if anyone is available? i feel bad like saying i dont want him idk what to do? like if i should go in and see his pictures...or just say id rather vinny or someone else bc they never said vinny was booked she really didnt answer my question she just left a message saying nick is your photographer im like ah

it's totally up to you, if your not comfortable because you don't know anyone who has used him then ask if you can have someone else

i would go in there and see his work... the photographers are not usually there on Saturday's b/c they're shooting weddings, so if you're worried about a run-in, i would go then. if you're not comfortable with him then definitely ask them to change it!! And try to see if they can show you any pictures he's taken at your RH around your time of year. that will help you decide... HTH!!

I would go in and see his work but I would also tell them you feel more comfortable having someone who you know of. When I booked with them I told them from the start I wanted Steve I didnt want them to pick someone for me. I have heard of Nick but I havent seen his work. Im sure he is GREAT =) and you wont have anything to worry about but just to reassure yourself go in and see his stuff and see if VInny is available he did my sisters wedding pics. are in my album. Keep us posted =)

try not to stress to much abou this. doug (the owner) trains them all to shoot the same.

jessie was our photograper the day of and doug did our engagement shoot. both shoots look like the same person took them

Dont worry, I felt the same way as you, until yesterday I met my photographer for epics Kevin. He was awesome, couldn't be happier. Go into Lindenhurst and see Nicks work, and make appt asap to meet with him,. No worries!!

yea i wouldnt worry either - like Roz said they are all trained by doug. But just to give you piece of mind go and look at his stuff and find out for sure whether or not you can have the photog you want - some times you gotta press them a bit. But really - your pics are going to be amazing either way

Ang... i believe you can go for a second e shoot with him so you can see if you click.... if you do... you can keep him... if you dont you can request someone else.... im pretty sure they do this so brides feel comfortable with thier photog.... this is at least what we were told when we booked.... You should call and find out.....

I was stressed out too.. thought I had made a mistake with photographers etc and thought i went with the wrong company even!! BUT then I got my e pics back and fell i lovvvvve with Patken! All their photogs are trained by Doug, so you should be good with anyone you get!! Let us know what happens!!
