PATKEN or A.D.A Photography??

I absolutely looove patken's work & my future sis in law used them. But tonight we met them both at our showcase tonight & FH is leaning toard A.D.A I feel because the sales people from patken didn't do it for him I guess.. We also got $300 off for just making the appointment with Patken which I also thought was good...Just wanted to get everyone's feedback & experiences with either or or both. Thanks so much!!

I'm actually very happy with this thread because I just got off the phone with Patken and have an appointment with them tomorrow lol I'm glad everyone had good things to say about them. I saw their work online and it's just beautiful! I can't wait to see their albums in person.

My sister used Patken and was happy with her pics. The only thing I didnt like was that she didnt get the rights to her photos an all the proofs were stamped, so she couldnt frame them etc.

we used patken, and got our proofs on DVD a year after our wedding. the proofs on the DVD are not stamped, and you can do whatever you like with them.

we requested Steve and loved him. Our pics are beautiful, and Steve is very fun and easy to work with.

Steve was our photographer too. He was GREAT! We had so many people in the family pics due to DH's HUGE family..but he made it all work and we got EVERYONE in the pics!!

We met with both Patken and ADA....Fh was impressed with a book that he had seen of ADA's and wanted to check them out...Well when we got there the photographer hit on me (in front of fh! ) then proceeded to tell us that he was giving us a 'special' deal and no one else could know about it. We just found that he was unprofessional all around and did not book with them!

Patken on the other hand was very nice but they quoted us a little high so we didnt go with them. But I liked their pictures

That is horrible of him to hit on you & esp .right in front of FH!! We were less than thrilled with our meeting with ADA...first off we were double booked w/ another couple...she was extremely unorganized & kept repeating things and forgetting what she had already told us.. granted she wasn't one of the photographers..but it was just a HUGE turn off... Patken all the way!! :)

We're using Patken. Their photos were awesome and definitely easy to work with...even on the pricing
