I personally know of 2 people who weren't thrilled with Silver..And their name is blocked on this site so there may be a reason for that. Patken seems to be wayyyyy more reputable and consistently good.

thanks girls! I have heard about Patken but, there are so many photographers that I was a little uneasy about booking and not knowing who I will get. They said that the e-photos may not be with the photographer that does the wedding because it depends on how we work together. But I know they have a great reputation and I felt comfortable with them. Thanks again!

You do your first e shoot with someone then after they think they know who you will work well with you go back and do another eshoot with that photog.

We used S I L V E R FO X for our photography and videography and I am very happy with the results. We used Jodi for our main photographer and Ted for our photojournalist. They were amazing to work with. Jodi helped to keep us on schedule and in the end acted like my DOC in addition to taking over a 1000 pictures. It is more important to make your decision based on the individual photographer's work then the company name. Keep in mind reviews are subjective opinions...we all have our individual styles. Choose the company you feel the most comfortable with.

i think silver-fox is cheaper than patken. patken's photos are very artistic - lots of angular photos, darker, etc. you might want to check out both websites and see which style interests you more. also, im not sure about this, but i remember someone posting that patken only prints pics in square sizes (e.g. 12 x 12, 10 x 10) instead of the traditional photo sizes (8x10, 5x7). I know you also get the rights to your photos from patken after 6 months after you pick up your album.

also, if you aren't set on one photog yet, try Duet! they have amazing packages and you get the rights to your pics right away.
