Re: patken photography
I have to say as someone who actually worked with Patken for my wedding I would highly recommend them. Photography was high on our list of importance and so we met with a lot of photographers but Patken was hands down the right choice for us. Everytime I look at my proofs I am reminded of how happy I was to work with them.My package was very reasonable in price and included:
Engagement Pictures
Wedding Album (36 pictures)
Parent Album (24 pictures)
20x20
11x11
6 - 5x7 for bridal party
125 Full cover picture thank you cards with personalized message and envelopes
Additional pictures (10x10, 8x10, etc)
Deluxe Video with 3 DVDs
Plus, according to my notes, I will be getting my negatives shortly after everything has been printed and finished.
I highly recommend Patken. They are amazing to work with and their work is beyond words. We have been so happy with our pictures and I still get so many comments on the thank you pictures.

I booked patken also for photo/video, does anyone who has used them before have any photos that they can share with us? I have seen some e-pics on here and also the photobooks at their studio, but I am just so curious to see some actual wedding photos from some of you
thanks!
Some more pics - I loved Patken!

Re: patken photography
a family member of mine used them and not only was the photographer late but it wasn't the one she booked with--------you are always going to have good/bad reviews on vendors---but that was my reason for not using or even looking at them............

Re: patken photography
Your pics look great! You look amazing and so happyI was wondering which photographer you had for your wedding day. I have not taken my e-pics yet. I really liked Doug's work. If you can, please tell me a run down on how the day went with your photographer, I know Patken seems to be all about posed journalism, which I love, FM me with any details. Thanks!
P.S. Anyone else got pics to share??

My quote with pics and video was under $6,000. I personally don't like getting into specifics. I might be a bad negotiator or hate negotiating so I took the price based on the fact that it was in line with others or maybe sounded better. Or...I might be an excellent negotiator and worked the price down.
All I will say is that at the time we booked, the price quote worked for us. It was middle of the road with the others that we saw...not the lowest and not the highest. After the wedding...I completely feel that we got the better end of the deal and more for our money.

Steve was our photographer too! All the guys are great but I can only speak about Steve since I actually worked with him. What a great guy. Not only are my pics better than I ever expected but we had such a great time with him. We were laughing the entire time. Plus now when I go into the studio to pick things up he always has a warm welcome and always remembers both of us.
