Patken pro pics

How long did you it take Patken Brides to get there proofs. Its been 22 days,, Maybe I am being impatient,,
Another question upon viewing your proofs did you have to finish paying off the balance or is it upon recieving your album????

I know a friend of mine just got married and it took like a month and a half (after some hounding) she said the photographer was really busy...

I think you pay the balance when you pick up your proofs...not completely sure....it should say in your contract

Hey Marjorie, my boss used Patken for his November wedding, not sure when he got his proofs, but he got his album in April. Thats a very long time, but maybe him and his wife took a long time to decide on which proofs.

I got my proofs in 2 1/2 weeks, yes you need to pay the full balance when you pick up your proofs or when you call them to get it posted online your proofs.

I got married in a off season so they were a little less busy , the most they should take is 3 weeks, so i would call to verify.

Once you get your proofs online or in the book go through them and pick a thank you right away place that order. Then go over all your pics and write down what you want in your album on the sheet they give to you.

IF you are adding more pics to your album or changing things when you go in you will have to pay whatever extra you want right then and there. The proof for your album can take up to 2-3 months (i am still waiting and I put my album order in the first week of april).

My wedding was 4 1/2 weeks ago and I havent gotten them yet. I was told 3 weeks originally; last week they said I should get them within a week or so...we shall see.

i was told it would take 3-6 weeks to get the proofs. I didn't realize that it would take so much longer to get the album...months?!?, I don't want to wait that long! =(

yea it kinda stinks to wait that long for a proof on the album because it takes so long to get the album done once the proof is okayed. Figure around your year ann you will have the album - i am praying its sooner.

Okay this is great information.. do you have to pay extra to get the proofs online????? Vinny told me 3 weeks but like you said it maybe a lil busier now.. I think I am going to wait until the end of this week and then call. I cant wait alreadie,, and how about the video do you know..

Yeah I have heard other companies taking longer than a year,, it seems like they do it over seas or something like that..

answered your fm, but it doesn't cost extra to post online.

The video i think is like 3-4 months too. Not sure - I asked but they gave me the standard contract time. Everyone keeps bugging me since I am putting hte video on our website and they all are waiting. I just want to see how the hell the thing looks.

I also got all the raw footage that i am going to edit since I had taken a few classes in video editing and i have final cut pro on my computer for a full classic style video.
