I have been talking to other brides about there packages with Patken and I feel as though we are not getting as much for our money.
1 Bride/Groom album with 30 pics. Engagment Photo. 3 DVD's, not uncut version or recap. Fancy hard cover proof book. 2 Plasma Screens for video montage.

The number of pics on your albums seems quite low.
Other than that, it seems ok to me.

IMHO, it seems a little bit high because most likely you will still have to get thank you's, parents albums and enlargements. That's going to add up.

Just call them up and ask them you forgot about bridal party pics... can they add that. Also, tell them you just found a coupon for the large portrait. And you were just wondering 'how many' thank you's came with the package.
Make sure they add everything to your contract.
I think my package with Patken included 33 pictures in our album... and we're getting two parent albums.

i booked Patken as well...i ordered a small wedding album too bc its cheaper to add pics and pages on after the wedding...
if you add more pics within 2 weeks of receiving your proofs...all the pics are 50% off!!!

Oh yeah, I negociated a few months ago about adding 5 - 5x8 bridal pics.
I still feel like we are getting cheated. Do you think it would be too much to write a letter to Doug (the owner) requesting him to add 10 more photos to our album and include an uncut version of our video. I already tried to negociate with him to add the recap at the end of the video and he said no, it takes too much time, and it costs $500.

i believe its on any pictures...for the albums or lose prints...BUT ITS ONLY ON PRINTS ABOVE YOUR PACAKAGE...SO IF YOU ORDERED AN ALBUM W/ 24 PICS, IT WOULD BE FROM PIC 25 ON..(thats why they push you to buy the smaller albums bc it is cheaper to add on then to buy the larger album).im not fully postive with all particulars but that is the impression i got.....i.im sure you can call them and get teh full story!!!

i dontr think you got ripped off at all... i booked with them and didnt do all of the extras (montage, etc) - we got 36 pics and some other extras for BP and $150 GC for pics after the wedding for $2600... so I think yours sounds about right...

She is getting the plasma screens, which is why the price seems higher than usual. But since she is the price is ok.

Maybe?.....they Told me that 90 pic 2 parent albums, engagement photo, 1 photographer, video/dvd with the edited version, 50 thank you and more i can't remember was 6,000......we Never booked with them b/c the sales lady was not very accommodating with what I wanted!
