Pave set rings... girls who have them

Have you had any problems with the little diamonds falling out? My e ring is a solitaire and I have my eye on this pave set wedding band with diamonds halfway around. I read that pave set diamonds aren't as secure as channel set or prong set diamonds and that they may fall out from time to time. Has anyone encountered this? TIA

i have pave on the bands and on the prongs leading up to the center stone. (Kind of like a basket). And one of the pave stones on the prong fell out a few months ago and I freaked out. FH was totally calm once i told him the centerstone was fine. I brought it to the jeweler and he matched up a new stone and set it for me at no charge. I had it back after 1 day.

I have pave and luckily have not yet had this problem. I was warned by my jeweler, however, that it is bound to happen.

I have pictures of my ring in my albums... but I have an eternity band with pave set diamonds for my ering and my wedding band. I have never had any issues with the diamonds falling out (knock on wood). And I'm not exactl easy it on it. I never take it off so I'll have it on to clean, when we were packing boxes and moving,

I have 92 paves on my ring ( i know pretty rediculous that i know that) and i actually did lose one a few months ago - thankfully I have a lifetime guarentee on the setting, so it was replaced for free.

I ldo ove the pave look and would definitely recommend it. You just have to be a litte more careful and make sure you get a good warranty or insurance policy with it.
