Hi ladies... has anyone heard anything about the Lessings property the Pavillion at Sunken Meadow?
Im thinking of having my ceremony there and was wondering if anyone knew what it was like - would there be tons of people on the beach during the ceremony etc??

Re: Pavilion at Sunken Meadow
I was dying to get married there. We went for our appointment and I got eaten alive by bugs. Basically, take the snack bar at robert moses remove all the tables and you have the pavilion. The view is gorgeous though. FH said no way.

We did look there, and it would have been perfect if it wasn't for the large price tag (basically, you are paying for the gorgeous view, and def NOT the hall itself)...it just wasn't worth the money. Not to mention at that time they did not have a/c or heat....soo no way. But, for the ceremony, honestly I don't know how it works, and I have never been there for one. My mom did say once she was there on the beach and there was a ceremony going on, so I imagine beachgoers are around. Good luck!

Yeah i figured it might be that way.
We are trying to find a place other than a church that has a nice water view for the ceremony....but yeah i definitely dont want people on the beach during the ceremony - OR BUGS!
