Joe wants the whole balance a week before and FH and I are kinda
Not that I don't have the utmost confidence in Camelot, but what if something goes wrong and we already paid by bank check? There's no way to dispute anything.

We used Camelot and paid the week before also, and something DID go wrong on the day, and they couldn't fix it or make it better that day So they offered us drop off/pick up for our HM, which apparently they offer to everyone anyway, so I wasn't too impressed.
But since we paid already, what were we going to do? We just s ucked it up, but I'm still pretty unhappy about it.
Oh no! What happened?
Yes please tell, I just got the phone call to pay my balance and was going to do that this weekend, with them, the dj and the florist.

The limo was on time, the driver was nice, but it had NO AC! And it was over 90 that day. My entire BP was sweating like piggies, and I'm sure there will be sweat stains in my pictures I was dyinggggg in my big dress. They said that every single one of their other limos was out, and that even Joe was out driving.
It was just really hot and disgusting, and you would think they would check the AC beforehand. I get that crap happens, but having a contingency plan would be nice.

This is exactly the concern.
Fh doesn't want to use a credit card because we have ti put so much on already, he wants to leave for the HM with as much paid for in full as possible.

Re: Paying for limos?
We paid ours ahead of time, less to worry about the day of. If anything happens I guess we will have to get it from them later but lm not too worried about it.

Re: Paying for limos?
I already finished paying him off. I could understand your concern-however I feel positive that ALL his reviews and personal recommendations from him ensure me that- A)-nothing will get messed up the day of your wedding B)-if something happens to go wrong-he would not not give back something and jeopardize his name and reputation for 1 bride. Knowing how vocal us LIW girls are.
Just my opinion...

oh wow... had no idea about this. and of course i know exactly how hot it was that day. so sorry that happened. and i'm sure the fact that the vendor didn't make up for it in a way that would have left you satisfied only made things worse.
fortunately, you had an AMAZING wedding despite this particular vendor. :)
