did anyone fully pay off their photog? mine said something about paying the last 1/3(i think) when i picked up my proofs. is that what i am supposed to do? or can we pay it off?
you can pay them i'm sure whenever you want, but i like having a little something to hold over the vendor's head to motivate them. to me that's like tipping the waitress at the beginning of the meal, ya know?
You can pay in full but If the photographer offers the option to pay final payment when you receive the final product is better business practice.
Are you using Patken? I am using Patken and they told me that as well. I think we will wait until we pick up so that we def get what we are paying for.
I prefer NOT to pay in full until I pick up the proofs. I think it's for our own benefit in case you need to use that last amount against them for whichever reason.
Don't pay them off until you get your proofs and see their final work done !

i have paid them in full except the last $450 that is due upon pick up of pictures after wedding!
Mine has to be paid in full 1 month before my wedding
you can pay the photog in full in advance but I recommend you finish paying it off when you p/u the proofs.....just in case

you can pay them if you want, but i wouldnt pay them the whole thing in case they hold your ablums or proofs or something. Its better to owe them so that they give you the products
we have to have our balance paid off 10 days before the wedding, then the final payment is due when we pick up our proofs
