Well I don't know about under 50, I've never heard anything that low, but Milleridge Cottage was $65 on a Friday in June (before tax and grat.) for the silver menu so it might be a little less in the off season.

Also I've seen ads for Brentwood CC being like 8 or 9k for like 100 people - but I don't know the quality of that place, I'm sure someone on here has been there though,

You may want to consider a brunch for that price or something without alcohol included.
Good Luck! Lets us know how you make out.

My best friend is getting married in October on a Saturday night at the Bay Ridge Manor in Brooklyn and is paying about $45/50 per person. FM me if you want some info.

Try Ariana Waterfall. They quoted me $48pp. But I don't know if you'll like the area. FM if you want details.

Re: paying under $50pp

you should try to go 'off the wedding package' to get rates like those....

I know if you book a hall for a random party (sweet 16, bar mitzvah...) you can sometimes get below $50/pp (before fees/tips) which would be approx $75 after fees/tips... as long as you don't opt for an open bar...

try restaurants / caterers that have numerous types of events.... avoid sites that specialize in weddings.... they are always more $$$.

I went to Tall Grass Country Club and they quoted me $49 pp for a Friday night in February.

It's a really beautiful place.

I got married at Brentwood and I would highly recommend their package, but I would remove the limo and photographer and find a budget one within your price range, which is very doable.

Read my wedding review for further explanation.

Re: paying under $50pp

maybe try the coral house on a friday during off season. I heard they had good prices. I had a college formal there a couple of years ago and it was like $45 a person and had open bar. This was about 5 years ago though.

Coral House is pretty reasonable--my cousin got married there two years ago on a Friday night in July for under $60.

try West Sayville Country Club.

Some of the Knights of Columbus's on Long Island are nice and very reasonable. I believe they do package deals. GL in your search.

Re: paying under $50pp

i got married at the Stewart Manor Country Club for $57 per person. . . this was AFTER we added an extra hour to our reception! This also included the centerpieces and the wedding cake. I couldn't have been happier...they did a great job. I had 170 guests and paid about 12K for everything (including tax and tip). FYI: I was a saturday afternoon in February.

Coral House also gave us a decent quote as well....

Ariana Waterfall has really great packages. If you are looking for inexpensive places, maybe you can try RH that offer packages like Brentwood Country Club or Mediteranean Manor.
