Did you ladies pay off your vendors before the wedding or afterwards?
I want to pay them off now to get rid of that to do but not sure what is better.

I paid off most beforehand. I just had a few balances to pay in cash day of, but it was a lot easier to pay most before. You should do what works for you, as long as you aren't worried about them bailing.

All of my companies are pretty stable so i guess i'll pay them off beforehand just to get it out the way.

I paid them before hand b.c i do not want any bills or be in crazy debt. The only vendors I will pay later on is the photog and videog as they expect final payment upon delivery of their product which will be 1 month after the wedding or so.

Most of our vendors we will pay before: RH; Florist; DJ. Limo is day of and Photographer's final payment is about 2-3 weeks after when we get our proofs.

We are paying almost everything before the wedding. We are paying our florist after the wedding and two small payments to the photographer- One when we pick up our video and one when we pick up our albums.

I'm paying everyone that will allow me in full before the wedding. All I need is a million fat wads of cash floating around that day. I paid our photographers in full when I booked them, I gave our dj a deposit of half and we've been trying (without much success) to make larger payments to the RH so it doesn't all sneak up on us.

Hi Date Twin!!! I'm paying everyone in full before the wedding. I don't want to have that worry on me the day of.

i know people say to wait but we saved and paid each off one by one..so now all we have left i the balance of the rh due a few dayas b4

most of them i payed off before hand. the only one i didn't pay was the DJ. i had to give him the rest the day of the wedding.

The only vendor I'm paying off before hand is the florist, because they require payment 3 days prior. Otherwise, everyone else is getting paid day of, or for my photo/video, upon picking up proofs and final video. The paying up front thing bothers me, and I'm not even thrilled about the florist requiring it, but what can you do.

I'm paying my final florist payment this Sunday...
The band gets their final payment day of
The photog gets his payment when we get back from our HM...
And hair and makeup day of...obviously.

My comp's wont do any payments afterwards. So we are stuck paying everything up front. Oh besides the photographer, and videographer of course.
RH -- paying the remaining balance (very small at this point; we've been giving $4-7k a month) a few days before the wedding Photog -- 50% of the total price the day of florist -- one payment, due a few days before the wedding chair cover rentals -- balance due a few days before the wedding band -- balance due the night of limo -- balance due on the day of the wedding

We paid everything beforehand besides the photographer bc we do that when we get our proofs. I would just get it over with- its just another thing to worry about... just make sure you have copies of everything
