Is anyone paying the remaining balance to their vendors earlier then required?
Just looking at the numbers is stressing me out!
I am thinking about paying them early instead of waiting to pay a big chunk in the end.

I'm making payments to vendors any time I have some extra money ... it calms my nerves when I see the remaining balance go down as we get closer to the wedding!

I think that is what i am going to do. For some odd reason I find a way to spend money on God knows what half the time. So I should spend it on what I need to pay for.
Buying a house and a wedding at the same time is crazy!

on some of them I paid early, like the DJ, MUSIC, photo/video but flowers I am not sure how many tables there are going to be so that I didn't pay off HTH

I paid off RH almost a year in advance -
then I paid everything else maybe 2 months prior.
the only payments I worried about the day of were tips.

I think I am going to pay the DJ/LIMOS/PHOTOGRAPHER/CHURCH/OLD WESTBURY GARDENS ASAP.
That will definitely put a huge dent into the bill.

yeah just do it... the ones you know you are going to make changes on hold off ... but I just paid mine all off (the one I stated ) because I couldn't sleep thinking about all the money due at one time.. My photography wanted a huge balance the day of, and I was like no way.. plus it lifts a huge weight off to know you can spend it on little things you wanted... (ie napkins, hoodie, etc.)

FH handles the money/vendor payment portion of the wedding planning, but I think we're about 50% paid off with all the vendors. And we've paid off our RH in full, though only for 125 guests, so obv if we end up with more, we'll have to pay extra.

Most of my payments are due in full prior to the wedding so I have been paying them off in full just to avoid the headache. The only things I really want to worry about is tips.

the only vendors we took care of early (but not extremely early) was the photog and the limo. The rest we paid when the said it was due.

Did you girls just mail them a check or did you go to the vendor and hand it to them? I think I want to start paying things off soon, did they give you a receipe or something that says paid in full?

we have been doing this....every week we pick a different vendor and try to get it out of the way so its not all left to the last week

We worked it out w our photographer that we'd pay him when we wanted. Dj n limo told us day of, video I haven't heard from but we owe a little in July then the rest the day of and chcc has been amazing and are letting us pay as much or as little as we can each month so we don't have to cry when we see a huge check being written lol

We paid almost all our vendors early so we wouldn't be stressed the month of the wedding - it worked out FABULOUS!!!
