Paying Vendors Early?

Original post by Tippy

Is anyone paying the remaining balance to their vendors earlier then required?

Just looking at the numbers is stressing me out!

I am thinking about paying them early instead of waiting to pay a big chunk in the end.

i already paid off my florist and my photographer & video.
as soon as i can make an appointment with my band, i will pay them off too.
i can't wait till the last minute, i would be a nervous wreck!

I have paid off almost every vendor i need to know exactly what i will need in the end and i dont want it to be much i cant take the stress so All i have to pay off right now is 600 to my dj and another 2000 for the honeymoon and about 3000 for my rh (depending on my final head count) everything else is pretty much paid

I am not a fan of paying for anything in full before you received the service, but the money in our savings is burning a hole in my pocket so to speak and I want to make payments so see the overall balance go down. They're all coming due in a few weeks, so in due time

Did you girls just mail them a check or did you go to the vendor and hand it to them? I think I want to start paying things off soon, did they give you a receipe or something that says paid in full?

who ever let me pay in check I did one owner had me make it out to his personal so I could avoid taxes and another owner had me make it out to cash in the memo part I put it what it was for and stapled the canceled copy to the updated contract. I went to all of them because I wanted the paid in full contract in my hand right away
