I was thinking about paying some of our vendors now because we have the cash and I dread the thought of paying everyone the week of our wedding. I also don't want to be tempted to touch the money for something else.
Has anyone done this, or are you going to just put the money aside and pay them when its due?

I paid some vendors in full already ... I didn't want to put myself in a bad position right before the big day.

I paid almost all of my vendors in full! I dnt really see the problem.. they are all highly recommended and have been in business for years. The odds of a vendor closing and running away with the money was less likely in my eyes than the odds of constantly taking money from my drawer to go shopping

We paid off most things almost a year in advance.. the rest about 6 months in advance - some vendors wouldn't let us do this but we still paid a couple months earlier then originally planned.

I paid everyone pretty much on the timeline they set. We did pay our DJ at our final meeting instead of waiting until the day of. It wasn;t really a b ig deal to pay everyone close to the wedding since we were in contact with them anyway.
