Paying your catering hall........................

I am coming up with hell of a lot questions today

I was wondering on how many of you are required to pay your catering hall in full BEFORE the wedding????

The balance we pay Is either 1 or 2 weeks prior.

I had to pay half in january and the balance 10 days before the wedding. I paid mine in full a couple of weeks ago just to have it done!

We have to pay the Tuesday before...5 days before

Our wedding was on a Sunday, and we paid in full the Thursday before the wedding.

We are, one week prior we have to give them the number of guests and pay the balance.

yeah we have to make big payments! matter of fact the next one is due end of march and yes they want to be paid in full 8 days b4 and FH is upset about that cause he's like how can u pay for something b4 it even happens lol

with all the wedding stuff...i'm begining to think I'm in the wrong business

That is standard in the industry. I am required to pay my hall in full 10 days prior to my wedding.

I have to pay in full I believe 10-days before and must have a final head count by then

me too - which totally s@cks!
