For DJs how much do you need to put down to hold the date and how does the payment plan work? Just curious, I am sure they will all be slightly different

Our DJ secures the date w/$300 or half....whichever is higher (our package is $600 in total, so we put down $300) and we're giving him the other $300 the week before the wedding.

We left $100 for Tommy Tunes and starting in May we are leaving $250 per month until they are paid off.

We put down $800 1/2 of the balance is due a month before the wedding rest of the balance the day of

I left a $50.00 deposit and I have to pay the rest the day of.

We gave $200 deposit, the rest is after the reception.

We had to leave 20% deposit to secure the date, then another 20% is due ina couple of months and the rest is due the day of, but we can make as many payments as we want if we don't want a huge bill the day of.

We had to put down a % but then they broke up that % in to two payments cause we book so early so I already made a payment of 398 and I have to make another one for 398 in Dec. 05 the rest is due that night - and we are paying 2675 total

Ok, so this is a lil off topic! We haven't booked yet but that's what we're up to on the agenda. I saw LI Sound and I really liked them, my FI didn't get to see them but after speaking with them we both liked their personalities. What do you girls think of them? Any words of caution??? Looking for honest opinions here!!!

I really like them, they were our second choice. Saw them at a showcase and thought they were great!

We had to put 500 down and owe a balance of 1000 which half of that has to be paid 2 wks before the wedding and the other 500 due that night.

ur DJ wanted get this 20%!!!! I was like NOT A CHANCE!!!! So we gave him 575.00 and have to pay him every month til we have the 20% paid off, this wedding is putting a major damper in my savings account!
