Once we made our required RH payment prior to our final payment, FH decided to start paying for other vendors who will accept check/cash prior to the wedding.

I would do it a little at a time if you could, unless you are getting crazy interest on the $$ in the bank...

None of our vendors required any other payments after our deposits. So we had the money gaining some interest up until this week when we have to pay everyone.

we're paying only what is required.
That way, we can have the money saved up in the bank in case of any emergencies. We also make interest on that money so it's better for us

The only place I pay regularly to is the RH. I have one more payment before the final. All of the other vendors are due a month to two weeks before the weddings.

I'm following the payment schedules however honeymoon is the only thing I will deviate from on this. I don't want to put the final payment of over $2,000 on a credit card whose monthly payment will probably be due when we're out of the country on our honeymoon! For me, it's easier to pay this off little by little.

I've been paying everything off way ahead of time.
To me, the teeny amount of interest it would earn is not worth it, plus this way I have less final payments to make!

I wish we had made more payments. We've been saving up money the whole time, but I feel like if it hadn't been in my bank account, I probably would've saved more in the long run. It really depends on you.

I send payments once a week. I like the thought that it will be all or mostly paid off by the time the wedding gets here.
