Does anyone have a pearl dress?? Mine says pearl, but I thought it looked ivory and close to white.
I'm asking because does it matter that my FG dress is ivory. Should FH get a pearl dress? I never see anyone talk about pearl. Is it the same as ivory? Pictures of my dress are in my album.
Does it look ivory to you?

I just looked at it- it looks ivory to me. Maybe its just what that designer calls the dress.

I think the accents on it make it look ivory-ish, so you're fine. It's not white. Pearl to me seems to be not so 'yellow' as ivory, but not the bright white of white!!!
Is there any way that you can match up the fabrics? Is there a swatch of your dress anywhere (do they do that???)

yeah. I'm going to have to do that. I want to see what shirt FH should get. Ahh does it look yellow??? I dont want yellow hahaha. To me it looked white in the store, but when it's against a white white dress, then it doesn't.

My dress was off white, but DH and the GM wore white dress shirts. I thought it looked fine in the pictures.

No, it doesn't look yellow!!! That's why I put the 'yellow' in quotes.... I think it's a very pretty color!!!!!!!!!! I love it!!!
Think of an actual pearl. It's not white white, but it's not really ivory, either... It has a shimmer to it where the reflection is a little less bright and more soft than if it were white.
I feel like I'm not even making any sense right now!!! Sorry!
