I need some help. I always wanted to wear my mom's pearls on my wedding day. They were her Grandma's, and than hers, and then they will be mine. A few weeks ago I was with FH's family and his grandma said that I can not wera pearls. She said that it means that there will be a lot of crying in the marriage. I know that it is a superstition (sp), but now I don't know what to do. My grandma said that that's only 'true' if you buy your own pearls, and that it would be ok because I am not buying my own. What do you all think? I don't want my new 'grandma-in-law' lol, to get mad that I ignored her. Thanks Ladies!

so sorry you were put in that position, i really hate when people tell me i cant do something for my wedding, thats not for them to decide......you do what you want, if thats the tradition in your family and its going to make you happy do it......if she says something tell her those pearls came from wonderful women who had beautiful happy marriages and they are going to bring yours the same
