Pedestals

Has anyone used Pedestals for their flowers, or priced them? I am planning on making an appt. to go there. I was just wondering what they charge for a basic package of centerpieces, boquets, bout. and etc.. I have no clue what flowers run anywhere. Can someone give me an idea what I'm in for?

What are you looking for? I went into 2 pricey florists and told them that my budget per centerpieces was not more than $50, both were able to give me roses, stargaze lillies w/ some other flowers in a bubble bowl (w/ water) for $40 after a $10 discount per b/c they are house florists. So, I'm going to Pedestals and Burtons this week to compare prices and the look of the arrangements.

I am using Pedestals...here is what I am getting for $1300: 10 bubble bowl centerpieces with roses my bouquet, MOH, and 2 bridesmaids with roses grooms, best mans, 1 dad, and up to 4 groomsmen's bouteniers (sp??) 2 grandma corsages, 2 mom's corsages and a cute little bud vase in the bathroom! I think that's it. They were more reasonable than several other florists I went to...I don't even remember what other places I looked at now, sorry. Good luck though... :) JOY

Nina, I never asked them how much things cost individually so I don't know! I read that you are going there Weds...I think you'll be happy with them. I saw a woman named Phyllis..she's a little of a bubble head, but she was nice!

Went there (the Howard Beach location)...they were similarly priced to other Crest Hollow recommended vendors (my brother is getting married at Crest Hollow so we looked at the same vendors). I have heard very good things about them from this board. I think for an average centerpiece the starting price was $65-75. They weren't very flexible with me as far as what they offered in the package and they wanted me to make decisions right then and there about what styles and colors I wanted for my bouquets which I did not like. I was ready to choose centerpieces but not bouquets. I wanted to pick my dress first and then pick a bouquet to compliment it. They wouldn't let me keep a copy of the cost sheet they wrote up...so be prepared to memorize the itemized list if you plan on comparing to other vendors. I found Flowers by Brian were more flexible (package and price). I got a little bit of a cheaper pice and I got more in the package. They started out higher priced but then I told them what others said they quickly went down in price. One of my friend's also used them for her wedding and highly recommended them. Good Luck.

I went there twice and they wanted me to come back b/c the flowers were bad!! The guy was nice and apologetic but I booked w/ Simply Elegant today the prices were a little lower and the sample was gorgeous my mom and mother in law to be loved it let me know what u decide
