Pedestals florist

Has anyone heard of experiences or used Pedestals Florist? I actually just booked them, but would like to know opinions. Thanks!!

I've heard mixed things. There are 2 locations. One in long island and one in Howard Beach. A lady that works there, her uncle works with my dad and he told me to check them out.

Someone on a different wedding site said they seemed a little expenisve and someone else said the day of her wedding her flowers didnt look fresh.

I've seen mixed reviews.

I hate to say this because you already booked them.....but my brother & sister in law used them for their wedding and the guests were arriving @ the church & the florist wasn't there yet. And they set up everything @ the church sooo sloppily (sp?!) all crooked and tilted. Our bouquets were pretty, but all the flowers died halfway through the day.

I'm sorry this could've just been a bad experience but I heard a similar review from someone else I'm sorry hope I didn't damper your spirits----I'm sure it will be fine---this was a couple of years ago---different people could be working there now!!

Iused pedestals for my wedding last month. The flowers were beautiful. I really didnt have anything in mind for the girls bouquet just roses, Danny put everything together, and I couldnt have been happier. When I pic up my proofs this week I will scan some for you.

My cousin used him for his wedding. The church flowers looked great. During the cocktail hour the delivery people were carrying the flowers through the cocktail hour to set them up in the reception room (they had other options of ways to get into the room though it would have been more out of the way). When we got in the roses (high centerpieces of 5 dozen cream roses) didn't look too fresh. They were slightly brown on the edges and not too perky. My cousin didn't seem disappointed though. This is only what I observed as a guest at one wedding.

i am happy to say that i am also using pedastals! we are using the howard beach location just b/c we know nadia(manager)! ive been to many weddings and parties where they used them and the flowers were gorgeous...im am very very picky and wanted something very different from most weddings and they came up with a great idea! i must say that i think they aare a little on the expensive side but then again it depends on what type of flowers you want!

Thank you all so much for the input. I am using the Mineola location with Natalie. Has anyone worked with her? I appreciate the honest bad as well as the good reviews. I can then tell Natalie to be sure the flowers are on time, fresh, etc. I actually found them to be quite reasonable price-wise. Again, thanks, and the more reviews the better!!
