Just wondering if when you went, they gave you a quote to take home or not. I went in tonight, and I didn't get a breakdown of everything individually and wasn't allowed to take the quote paper home.
i got a 'quote' but the only thing that I saw the price breakdown for are my CP's. It really annoys me now that I look at the sheet of paper that I got from them - I don't know why I didn't get a breakdown thing by thing. I booked them on the spot, so when I got back to pick my colors, etc. I will make sure I get it. She said nothing in the contract is set in stone and that I could add/delete things if I want to - so I am confident it will all be ok. Besides, they gave me what I was looking for within my budget, and I know they do amazing work - so I am trying not to stress over it! FM me if you need any more info!
I called them for a quote and it was double of what my budget allots. needless to say I will NOT be going with Pedestals.

we are using them and we have a breakdown of what everything costs. we are using the store in Mineola and are working with the owner.
I met with them last year (March 2004). I did get a quote with an itemized breakdown. I *think* the person I met with was Joe, but I really don't remember anything else.
They refused to give me a breakdown, and just provided me with the total. They also took the paper to another area when they calculated the amounts, which I was not comfortable with. I've heard great reviews, but after that experience, I will not be booking w/them. Obviously, there's something to hide.
At my first meeting I did not get the full list of items. I asked for a breakdown and was given 'Personals $___' and 'Centerpieces $___' When I went back to book, I got a copy of the list they write everything on. Oh, when I was there the first time, I had a notebook and jotted down the figures.
I am using Pedestals & I have a breakdown with everything on it...I can not rave more about them...I am working with Robert & I can not rave more about him

I asked flat out - 'May I have a copy of that?' and Phyllis, the woman I met with at the Howard Beach location did not give it to me. I didn't get a breakdown of anything, b/c she didn't write it down. All I got was the total of $1,750, which was out of my budget range, and for low-centerpieces, when I want high.

They did not give me the paper work when I was planning my wedding and I walked right out and did not book them. Good way to lose a customer and they did, becuase of this my FSIL would not even go there for a quote.
