We are taking our e-pic on Oct 27th, I was wondering if it would be the perfect time, and it is!! Thanks for posting this info!!

I want to go on a weekend get away. Go on a nice walking trail, see pretty leaves, apple picking, fishing, all that fun fall outdoorsy stuff. Where can i go?? I dont want to drive more than 4 hours and i live in suffolk county.

I think the BEST place for Autumn apple picking, pumpkin picking, etc. is in the HUDSON VALLEY, which is the area I'm originally from. I would recommend going during Columbus Weekend. That is around peak time up there, but book a room early...they fill up quick during peak season.

Does anyone know what the long term weather forecast is supposed to be for early November?
