Penalized For Small Headcount

Does anyone know of a reception hall that won't penalized for a small headcount? I can only guarantee 100 guests. Don't want to invite all my cousins that I haven't seen for years. :(

I'm looking for a reception location that has an outdoor garden or waterfront view in Nassau County that won't cost more than $120 per head (tips & taxes included).

I'll be visiting the Crescent Beach Club this coming Saturday so am wondering if there's anything similar nearby to also check out.

well we are getting maried in suffolk county at the 3Vi min #90 @99.00 a head you can ck them out would not hurt

Try the sandcastle, the room upstairs has a 120 person Min. It was the only place I looked at with that min. Everything else I saw was 150. The price isn't bad either. It is $95 per person w/ vianese hour in the off season with the tax and gratuity already included. (How can u beat that?) In the peak season it is 115 plus tax and gratuity. It's a really nice place too! Good Luck!

Try Leonards they have a small room on the first floor and they do an amazing affair. If you call ask for Maurizzio hes really nice

My minimum was 100. We told him we wanted a room for 75 and he said that he had a room that had a minimum of 125 but would give it to us if we guaranteed 100. It worked out great because we have close to 100 if not over now. Also the prices at the Swan Club are sooooooooo reasonable!!! Good luck! Fm me if you have any questions.

Swan Club..the gardens are beautiful and they have a lake on the premises. Worth a look and very reasonable.

Fountainhead has 100 minimum in one of their rooms.

Sunset Harbour. They have 2 rooms one is 80 min and the other I'm not sure if the min went up or not.

Thanks for everyone's responses! I wonder if it's better to just find a restaurant with a waterfront view that would do our wedding?
That way we won't have to worry about minimum headcount or paying full price for kids who don't eat. :(

Does anyone know of a restaurant on Nassau County's North Shore with a nice outdoor area for pictures or one near a beach or garden?

carlton on the sound is also in Bayville, has a water view and is less expensive.

Chateau la mer is in lindenhurst. We have a 100 minimum for a friday night in the upsatirs room and it is under 100 pp.

stewart manor cc has a 100 person minimum for a friday evening in august.....and its under $100 pp

Im having my reception at the Westbury Manor. Im having it in the upstairs room (Hill Room) and Im having appx 80-90 people...

I 2nd the Swan Club! the grounds are GORGEOUS and the treatment we received from the SC was 1st class! If you'd like, I have many pictures and more information about the Swan Club in my wedding review

Coral House is on a lake, and whne I called when we were looking, they had a smaller room for 75 min people...

I was going to suggest that...They have 2 smaller rooms which have smaller minimums

Try Milleridge Inn - their Carriage House would be good for that amount. And wherever you go tell them the numbers you are looking at...sometimes they can work with you.
