I also used Orange Films, and so far, so good! No trailer b/c I cut it out to save some $$, but Edward was really great day-of. I just sent him my song selections, and I CAN'T WAIT to see my video!! Jenn04's trailer is amazing, by the way!

I used pennylane and cant say enough great things about them. Adam was so sweet and great to work with. I absolutely love his work
here is a video of my wedding movie trailer that he edited right before the reception and played it during my reception, the fact that he did this in such a short period of time amazes me.

omg, denise, your trailer is AMAZING. it made me cry. i usually think that videos of wedding are so plain...they usually all seem the same. I'm so excited to meet with Adam now. Do they show you examples of videos when you meet with them? In your opinion, was it worth spending so much on video? Which package did you go with? Did you do any add ons? For the bride or groom getting ready, if you want both getting ready, do you have to get two of these add ons? If you could go back, would you do the voiceover add on if you didnt? The commentary interviews? Thanks for all the info.

yes he showed me a bunch of videos when i met with him.
Well its completely up to you if you think its worth it. To some it is and to others its not. As long as you feel comfortable with the decision bc you have to live with it. For me it was worth it bc i fell in love with his work and knew i would love our wedding videos
Also, you dont pay video in full before the wedding. You only pay half and then you dont pay the other half until you receive all your videos MONTHS later. So that might help with your decision since you do have months after the wedding until you have to pay the other half.
i did the HD 2 cameraman production, although since ive booked they changed the names...it was called something else when i booked, ALSO their prices went up a week after i booked with them. Also if you refer them to others and they book you get $100 for each person you recommended to them. For me they just took the couple hundred dollars off of my balance. Also i got the 2 cameraman package but i had 3 the day of my wedding hahaha
Well the whole documentary thing you can decide on after the wedding. I wasnt sure if i wanted to do this or not and Adam just told me that i dont have to decide now, if i want to add this after the wedding i can do that. The interviews arent done until after the wedding anyways so no need to decide now. I still havent decided yet its good bc you can see how money is after the wedding before you make a decision on adding the documentary
what i did as far as the getting ready video, i decided to only do dh getting ready. I did it for 2 reasons, i was having photo and a bunch of ppl at my house so thought it would be easier. PLUS when i talked to adam the week of my wedding about timeline for day of, he told me he would have to be at the church about an hour before the ceremony to start setting up. Dh lived 2 blocks from the church and i lived about 20 mins and if there was traffic on the highways then even longer. So i told him to just go to dh's bc it would be alot easier for him to get to the church in time to set everything up. When i booked him i wasnt sure about getting ready and who would do it, i decided this when i spoke to adam week of my wedding and had to pay my balance. BUt he did surprise me morning of my wedding bc he stopped off at my house first to get video of my dress and shoes...we didnt discuss this and i had no idea he was coming...it was great of him to stop by on his way to dh's to get footage of this

Thanks! This is very helpful. It seems like he is very accomodating. It's nice that you dont have to commit to the extras the first time you're there. I'm deffinitely going to go meet with him. So excited!
