people annoy me!

maybe its just me but ....
I understand this is a public forum and people can say and do whatever they want....but
why do people feel the need to pick things out about your wedding and whatnot when you dont ask for their opinion? I know your wedding is supposed to be great but why does everyone feel every little tiny thing need to be perfect??? There are alot of things in my weding i really dont give a crap about , but i just dont understad why people have to give their opinion when its not asked for.
If someone posts something and i dont like it i ignore the post.....unless they ask what can i change or what do you think.....honestly i think its a little rude...everything doesnt HAVE TO BE PERFECT!

yea i know what your saying..but when you really think about it, its scary..its like they are in love with the day and the wedding and forget about the true meaning of it all..and to put down someone else shows their own insecurities

Heather, i am very sorry that you became upset about the comments on your petal cones. I was one of the people who mentioned trying hot glue. I never intended to upset you, i only mentioned the tape because it was noticable and honestly wasnt sure if you had realized. If you don't care about that - that is fine, i even said that you are right not to worry about it because people will be too excitied to throw the petals at you then to worry about the tape. But i thought that this is what this forum was about - helping each other out and offering suggestions. Im sorry if it came out the wrong way

im pretty sure i know who and what ur referring to and dont even stress it. your wedding stuff may not be fancy schmancy or cost $10843537 but thats who YOU are. your not the type of bride who cares about all the small little details that in the end will wind up in the trash anyway lol keep doing u and planning the wedding the way u want its ur day!

I try to remind myself its a public forum and i can't take what everyone says so seriously because everyone has differnt personalities and likes/dislikes. try to ignore those comments

You are so right. People have made comments about things that are not important to FH & I and we have learned to now simply say thank you, we'll think about that. Someone very close actually said the band is what makes the wedding..that is what I remember... we are having a DJ.

I am with you. If I see something I don't like or do not understand I ignore the post.

I posted yesterday about my BM dilemma. I totally already made up my mind what i am going to do. I just wanted a concensus of varying opinions. I love to hear how other people think, as ell as their reasoning!

Everyone has different tastes / opinions / etc... I do like to see what everyone says about things & sometimes I agree & sometimes I don't- b/c maybe I have different tastes. I also get it alot in general with the wedding ('oh you have latte bm dresses- didn't you want a color' 'what about this for your first dance' ' you should have this as an entree choice' )... etc etc... Mostly FH & I just smile, thank them and do what we want & like It's your wedding & thankfully you have the option to do / say / choose / whatever you & FH LIKE!!
