The final number has been turned in, the seating arrangements have been done and now people are dropping like flies. FH's uncle backed out, who knows why. My dad's aunt dropped because she didn't realize her niece would not be attending and doesn't want to drive herself. My BM is no longer bringing her husband because his family has a barmitzpah the same day.
I am already under my minimum by a lot as it is.
And I feel bad for FH, his mom invited 67 people, now only 29 are coming.

That stinks! But I think it happens to all of us, we had a few that dropped out week of the wedding and 2 couples that just didn't show.

yeah unfortuntley it happens to everyone. one of my Bridesmaid was hospitalized the day of my wedding so obiously her and her date didn't come and i also had another couple that wasn't able to make it as well due to some issues.

awww im sorry that's happening...we were really lucky and had no cancellations or no show but I know thats not the norm....did you check with the hall and see what they can do? If not, I would try to get some other people to come...maybe friends you couldn tinvite? or i have seen people on LIW invite other girls that were getting married at their hall!

yes it does happen to everyone. i ended up paying for 6 people that cancelled at the last minute.. there's really nothing you can do but be happy about the people that are there. it's really annoying i understand how you feel

We have the same problem so many people that would usually travel for weddings and who have traveled for them in the past just can not do it this year We are under our minimum as well but I just keep telling myself that it will be a wonderful day no matter what
