So after a lot of thought about inviting co-workers to my wedding, I decided to invite a co-worker/friend to my wedding. When I told her she was sooo excited. She talked about it non stop. She said her and boyfriend never go out and do anything so my wedding is going to be so much fun etc. etc.. I was told by this co-worker/friend of mine last week, that she doesn't think she will be able to come my wedding because it's too expensive. She alos said may have plans already....I'm getting married in SEPTEMBER!!
Is there a need to tell me this NOW???? I mean I know once the invites go out, people get beyond annoying and fustrating, but really??? Now????
She has offically been removed from my guest list.

I think its a good thing to tell you now. A co-worker of mine always goes away- and she mentioned to me that she might be away on the date I am getting married. I am not mad at her about it, but am thankful for her honesty- bc I can invite someone else. A close family member already told me that she has 'other plans.' To me, that is MUCH DIFFERENT than someone actually being away on vacation. You know what, if you already have 'other plans' then you can go f* urself and not get in invite. If it wasnt a family member, then I wouldnt have cared as much. She has now been uninvited from bridal shower, bachelorette party, and wedding. Im not dealing with jealousy and nonsense during my happy time lol
Is this co-worker a good friend?

Don't worry yourself as long as your fam and close friends are there everyone else is simply an extra sprinkle on the top of the cake!
but as a side note, who knows what they will be doing 7 months in advance? lol

Not that this should make you feel better but my own sister isn't coming to my wedding.
Yup. Terrible.
Oh, yeah, I asked her to be in the wedding and she made up a bunch of excuses as to why she couldn't be in the wedding and sent it to me in an email wft? She is 27 with kid, you would think she would act like an adult.

Yeeeeeeep! I couldnt believe it!!!! Now its more anger than disappointment. She will NOT receive an invitation for anything that involves our wedding. No bridal shower, no bacehlorette party, no wedding!!! Saying no like 7 months before an event is crazyyyyy esp when its family. Its obviously an excuse! Whatever, shes cut lol
