How do you tell someone nicely you dont want to show them any pics of ur dress? I keep getting asked and I dont want everyone to see it before the big day. Do i lie and say i dont have pics? am I being silly by not showing them? I want to surprise everyone

I recently had the idea to not show anyone....including my BP...until the big day. My sister wants to have my Mom actually slip where and when we are going dress shopping so she can 'just stop by'... I just tell them that I want it to be surprise...and leave it as that.

I only showed the pics to a few people. Anyone else who has asked I've told them that I want to wait to show them at the wedding! They've been fine hearing that

Your not being silly! I understand how you feel!! Tell them the truth, you want it to be a surprise. Leave it at that.
Only a few people have seen a pic of my dress. The others, I want it to be a surprise.

I would just say you want to keep it a surprise, and that should do it. If they can't deal with that, well, they have too much time on their hands!!

Ive shown people already, just not FH of course. Most of the people I have shown forgot already what it looks like. If you dont want them to see it tell them so.

I ended up showing some people, 3 BM's, MOH, my FMIL and some people at work. I feel bad now that they saw it though I really do regret showing them now. I wanted it to be a surprise but I got too excited about it, lol. I'm terrible with keeping things secret somethimes and it was hard enough not showing FH. If you have the will power just say no!!

I have not been asked that question yet but i would not show it unless it is necessary or for a particular reason. The only ones that have seen the dress is my BM's MIL and parents

I have showed a couple of people the pictures but only Mom & Sis has seen it in person. FMIL will see it and my BM's- that's it!
