How do you tell someone nicely you dont want to show them any pics of ur dress? I keep getting asked and I dont want everyone to see it before the big day. Do i lie and say i dont have pics? am I being silly by not showing them? I want to surprise everyone

I felt the same way and I felt bad saying no, but I figured they'd forget by the time the day comes anyway.

Just be honest I think. Kindly say that you have some ideas, but you would like to keep it a surprise, but you can assure them that it's lovely.
I'm showing my family and friends, as well as coworkers, or anyone who will look at it. Mainly because the picture doesn't do it justice, so will be that much more of a shock when it is seen in person. It can go both ways with showing pics.
But definitely just be honest and do what you feel is right for you.

I feel the same way!! I only wanted to show my mom and my bridal party...I told everyone I want it to be a surprise...

if you want to keep it a surprise, then thats your prerogative... i have a super nosy fam that recently asked me to describe my whole dress to them on more than 1 occassion and i did willing bc it doesnt bother me... i even showed FH a pic so you can see how much its just a personal preference!

Very simply ladies...... with a nod and a wink you tell them...they'll see it when the groom does!!! Or for those not invited...you say, you'll see it when I show you the pictures. If people get offended...just let them know that you'd like to keep it a secrect for your own personal superstitions.
I on the other hand showed anyone that would look!!! !!!!

I agree with telling them you want it to be a surprise... That was my initial plan but I got so excited when I bought my dress I showed a picture to just about everyone except FH!

sorry i saw it already! jk i will not say a word!!! umm i dont think its a problem if you dont want to show people but just be nice about it ... haha because i asked one of my friends what her dress looked like and she bit my head off and was like 'Ummm NO ONE is going to find out!' sooo i think that if you say it in a nice way like 'i just want everyone to be surprised im not really showing anyone' i think you will be fine!!!
