People like this make me sick!!

I'm watching Muary (its a rerun - ive seen this episode so many times)

Parents who over feed their children - these poor children are 4 years old and waying 85 lbs - or MORE!! one girl weighs 120 lbs. A 2 year old is 70 lbs!

What is wrong with these parents?
They say they can feed them whatever they want -
some of these parents are really over wieght themselves - you'd think they'd understand what they are doing to their kids socially and physically.

I want to choke these people - they make me sick!!

o God I know! And these mothers feed them steaks, burgers, greasy chicken. Absolute horrible food for children and they dont care!

exactly and then one goes i try to give her veggies - oh please! cut out the mac and cheese and the fried chicken!

I find that just horrible. Seriously what some parents pack in lunch boxes are disgusting. Makes me sad

as a parent this stuff makes me naseaous though I have to tell you I dont think its as much the food as the lack of activity....during baseball season we eat horrible....two kids 4 teams 8 different fields leaves little time for cooking and my kids are no where near over weight ......these kids need to eat less and do more !!!

of course - i totally agree with you - i remember growing up . these parents basically just revolve their kids day around food, youare right no physical activity!

Oh i know one school i worked at the mother would send her kid in with bags of chips for LUNCH - thats it!

part of being a kid for me was physical activity..
dancing swimming playing outside...

yeah not so great food during baseball season yeah ok.. but htey are workign it off...

kids need to move!

Thats so sad Poor kids

So many times parents just want to appease their kids and not deny them from the things they want. The other thing is if the parents have bad eating habits then the kids are likely to have the same problems.

The combination of the two is really bad.

Honestly, I think it's child abuse. By overfeeeding your children, you make them susceptible to all sorts of chronic illnesses, not to mention, the cruelty of other children!

I totally agree. I was overweight as a child and still am. My parents didnt let us eat what we wanted like crazy and all, but its a combo of inactivity and eating the wrong foods. Then again, back then, society wasntt as health conscious like today.

A child doesnt know that certain foods are not good for them, but the parent does.

Its not easy being an overweight child and teen and parents dont realize that they have to teach their kids how to be healthy.

I know some people were fine with being overweight as teen, but I hated it. I actually lost 100 lbs in HS and got healthy.

Unfortunatey, I gained it back and Im trying to lose again.

I personally consider it almost like child abuse.

It pisses me of too. DId you see the one where the mother chews the food for her kid and spits it in his mouth like a bird cause his teeth are rotted??? That was when I stopped watching those.

Why ar ethe kids teeth rotted- obviously she doesnt teach him dental hygene either. I hope they are his baby teeth, other wise, he will need serious dental work to have normal teeth again

i agree!! the parents need to take charge - they are the ones who should know better, the kids have no clue, they need to be motivated to go out and do something physical.

thats great you lost 100 lbs !! you can do it again!!!
