People with straight dress skirts/bottoms...What bustle?
I wanted an under-bustle, but the seamstress said I shouldn't with a straight skirt. What kind of bustle do you get with a straight skirt?

the bottom of my dress is slight flared, but the rest of it is fitted from my knees up. I am getting a two point bustle. It will be bustled up behind the knee area, any higher it won't fall right. I have a standard bustle. The french bustle didn't work for my dress either, it would have taken away from the beauty and couture.
Doyou consider this a straight dress? - it was only slightly aline. My material was very heavy and delicate and I had a double bustle - this was a picture from my first fitting (long time ago).
i opted for a detachable train for this reason, although my mother was playing around with keeping it on and creating some kind of bunched up option, have no idea what it would be called...
