PEOPLE'S MAGAZINE TOP 10 UGLIEST BRIDESMAID DRESSES!

This is a must see!! I know for a fact that some of these are from the 70's and maybe one or two are from the 80's. Girls, I have to admit that I wore something simillar to #1 in a different color at least two times! One was peach which got thrown onto the highway after the wedding bc I took it off in the car on the way back from the reception (don't forget the matching peach dyed shoes!) And the other was......are you girls ready?
It was in the 'maroon' family but it had pink dot accents. OH MY!!!

ENJOY!!

When my parents got married in 1972 my mom had the bridal party in a pastel rainbow theme. The dresses were pretty. The girls wore the easter looking bonnet hats. I guess it was the style then.

Yup I wore the first one in my cousins wedding years ago. This is one of the main reasons I let the bridesmaids pick their own dresses.

I would never have my BP in hats. The BM dresses today are more basic. Yes, they have a very nice beautiful style but they can fit any theme. They have dresses with style but it is not calling out 'The Little Mermaid', 'Little Bo Peep', or 'Hello Dolly'. I think I am being a tad to silly.

i can say this about those gals, they know how to be a BM...sould you imagine trying to convice one of your BM's to wear any of those i know i could use some of that willingness to please the bride over on my side of town

Wow, that first one looks a lot like my prom dress! Even the color. Except my dress fitted me and looked good. It was 1985, it was lovely for the time.

Nic, I love that you took a BM dress off in the car after a wedding! I just read another post recently where someone threw theirs in a dumpster. I hope my girls aren't just pretending to like their dresses, otherwise we'll see a trail of clothes on the LIE!!

yeah, I also wore that color to the 1990 prom I thought it was soooo classy it mercifully was missing puff sleeves, though... these pics are awesome.... it's amazing how the fashion industry can influence us to such a degree that we pick such crazy get-ups....
