Perfect example of how marriage is about compromise

FH is a prince, I don't know what I did in life to deserve him

He is very handy and has been spackling and painting our apartment all week after coming home from his construction job.

We had to make a choice re: deciding on keeping the couch or loveseat (they are a set). We want more space, and the one against the wall blocks the AC.

FH wanted to keep the loveseat, I wanted to keep the couch (much bigger and comfy).

SINCE he has been working so hard on the apt, I decided to let him decide. I can't be a brat and have my way all the time! His bro came over yesterday and loaded my couch in the truck to be dropped off at the goodwill. I couldn't bare to watch! I loved that couch! I actually felt a little pang inside like I was going to cry ( I know I know its just a couch). But this made him happy, and that's what I want to make him. He deserves to get his way once in a while

This is really funny. My FH is handy with the construction stuff too. We're in the mist of renovating our front room. Trouble is, I do not love him for it! He makes such a mess and has a billion different things going on at once so it takes 3 times longer than it should to get finished. I moved into the apartment a month ago now and haven't been able to unpack because he just 'had' to turn two perfectly good closets into one (and then use up all the space fitting it with custom shelves which cut down all the space he made).




He also won't let me do anything to help because he doesn't trust my painting skills AKA I don't do a good enough job (which he doesn't know whether I do or not because he won't let me try).

That's soooo sweet of him!!! Us girls, r so lucky to have that type of FH!!! My FH changed the carpet from the living room & hallway and put hardwood floor all by himself!!!!! I def offered to help but he insisted me not to!

What did u end up doing with the couch? did u sell it??

Gave it to goodwill
