I made my own direction cards and brought them to work to cut on the giant paper cutter. They came out a little crooked. Would you redo or stuff them as is?

I would just keep them. But if its really bothering you then do them again. I'm sure people won't even notice

I doubt anyone will notice. I know if it were me tho, it would probably drive me crazy. I say leave them!

Re: Perfectionist? w/poll
okay....I am not voting b/c I don't want to be a hipocrit. I got married last month and went CRAZY over every little detail, and if you had asked me this a month ago, I would have said to do them over again. However, I did that with a lot of things....(I re-did my out of town bag tags 3 times b/c they were missing a period, and my programs twice b/c they were missing an apostrophe). HOWEVER, I will tell you that if I had to do it over again, I wouldn't have done it.......I can guarantee you that nobody else will notice. HOWEVER, if it bothers you (you will be the only one who notices but I know how you think) then re-do them. I will tell you though....that for what you'll get back for it, and for the time that you can spend doing something else, just let it go. But I do know how you're thinking so I support either decision!

An excellent point! I have to remind myself of this every day! I just printed out my invites (80 of them)..and now I want to them over again because I read online that you should only put 'request the honour of your presense' if you are gettin gmarried at a place of worship, which Im not...but then im like... R U CRAZY! I aint doing 80 invites all over again..no one is even going to notice!

I would just like you to know.. i'm crazed about stuff like this too, and I would print them over cause I'm crazy, but I just made my save the dates myself and sent them to a printing company to have the printed, AND I SPELT MY FH'S NAME WRONG!!!!!!!!!! and I spent a lot of $$ and I dont have time to wait for them to be reprinted, so i'm debating but they might be going out!!! I cant believe it.. actually i reversed a letter very hard to tell when you look at it quick!! Its crazy!!!!!!
See, the thing is I am NOT a perfectionist at all! I am just worried about what other people might say...isn't that awful??

LOL if you are a perfectionist it most DEF bother you. It direction cards not the invites themselves let it go and worry about other details.

Re: Perfectionist? w/poll
I dabble in perfectionism. I agonize over the perfect ribbon, the perfect font, the perfect design.... but slightly uneven cuts are below my radar. It's not worth the effort!
I'd send them out as is

OK this I would change, talk to the printer and see if you can get a discount! But as far as direction cards I know myself I would redo them. You could tell me it doesn't matter but to be really honest, my Aunt just sent out her DD shower invites and the directions were crooked, but really crooked. I said 'I'm surprised she sent them out like this!' Sorry, JMHO. It really depends on how crooked they are.

When I copied my direction cards they came out crooked - I just left them as is - no one is really going to notice and if they do - who cares? JMO!

Re: Perfectionist? w/poll
OK let me start by saying I am the most anal retentive person when it comes to thing being perfect and straight...this is what I realized doing my invites...No one will notice or know except for you! TRUST ME....the girl who spent 6 hours glittering her invites-its not worth it! Keep them

I you have time and resources to spare redo them. If not then recut the crooked ones to make them straight. Noone would know it was supposed to be bigger
