But no matter the topic u always critize(sp) I don't like going to movies with kids screaming and what not. Especially scary movies (not that i think that movie is scary an I can tell you that kids are begging their parents to go see this movie for some reason) But why in the world would you post that on here? To stir up something? The poor kid died don't u think that the parents hate themselves enough right now?

absolutely...choking is a horrible, horrible thing...no doubt about it...and obviously the issue is not whether or not this child should have been viewing that movie...but still...i thought i'd point it out.
I was thinking it may have happened because he was scared & gasped or screamed or something, but little kids scream at all sort of things.
I was thinking the same thing....what a sad story

It's a message board, BMD wanted to make a statement - it's her prerogative . It wasn't to stir something up, it was to make a point.

1-What are you talking about? 2-What are you talking about? 3-What are you talking about? 4-Not the first nor the last 'senseless' post 5-Was not trying to stir anything up. 6-Sincerely doubt that childs parents are reading my threads on this wedding website. 7-I NEVER SAID HIS CHOKING ON POPCORN HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH WHAT MOVIE HE WAS SEEING AND I NEVER DENIED IT WAS A TRAGEDY
Perhaps the real question is why was a three year old watching Alien vs. Predator?
Ed for spelling...
Exactly what I thought when I read what they were seeing ....

Re: Perhaps...
I think if the thread was supposed to be about underage children at inappropriate moves, it should have started out that way instead of linking a story about the tragic death of a child. I understood the point, but I agree with June26 about how it was presented.

Just wanted to add I had only read your original post when I responded ... I had not seen all the controversy at the time & hoped it would not get stirred up again .... not sure what the *faint* was for ...
