period cramps! Please tell me what you do to alleviate when not at home

I'm in pain and I usually prefer going back to bed after i get it, but it happened at work.

What do you guys do if you're at work to ease the cramps (as well as of course taking some meds)

I usually walk around, they say walking helps. Or take pills, drink tea and grind ur teeth....I hate that feeling. Hope you feel better

I usually drink tea and would have some hot soup during lunch.

The best way for me to stop the cramps is to walk and take pills (Midol the best!) and drink herbal tea

I work in Emergency Svcs, and the medic I work with gave me naproxen and said to let it kick in, and the heating pad thing with the balls in it isnt working.

I'd love to go home.

Sorry! Hope you feel better! Do you have ENDO?
I do... I got the surgery a few years back and it really helped but you have to stay on BC with low or no estrogen since thats what the ENDO feeds off of.

I couldn't handle the Depo shot anymore, I was on it for over a year, so I stopped everything and the scar tissue grew back.... and worse then ever. The Drs want me to get another surgery to remove the tissue but I'm not doing that anytime soon.
I'm hoping that after I get prego it will get better.

You know its funny the doc thought I had it because my cramps were killing me, but I was tested and they said I dont have it.

Really? How did they test you? My Dr said that they can see a little bit on the sonogram but to really tell they would have to operate on me. But they knew from my symptoms that I had it.

Motrin and heat pads help. But if your stuck then try bringing your knees to your chest, it usually makes me feel better.

naproxen works for some but mostly it doesnt work for me..give it about 20 mins ..try to eat something with it and try to drink chamolie tea it helps to alleviate some of the discomfort.
