I was supposed to start my period either Sunday or yesterday to be 'in the clear,' but it hasn't come. I'm trying not t get stressed so that it arrives today, but if it doesn't, then I am going to be one bloated, emotional, literal mess. any advice?

Super tampons, panty liners, extra underwear, the works!!
I'm actually worried about this myself since my cycle is going to change. Ughh my doctor has screwed up my well tuned schedule. I don't know when or if my period will come on the wedding!!!
You're probably overstressed so its messed up your schedule. Hopefully it'll come before and end before your wedding! You'll be emotional anyways so, No advice but to be prepared! Good luck!

Re: Period for wedding
Excercise!!!
Excercise makes it start and will make it end quicker!! Def work out. Not only will it make the cramps hurt less, but you'll feel a bit better.
Good luck!!

I have been exercising, too. Trying to stay calm so that stress won't delay it any more. I'm really bummed
Thing is, I've been cramping a little and bloated for the past few days, so hope that means it's going to be over (the bloating and cramping) if I get it right before the wedding (which is in 5 days, btw)

Re: Period for wedding
Beat bloat - avoid salt/sodium, drink lots of water, take water pills. Or Midol!
You could try drinking parsley tea to make it come. Or, buy estrogen creme from GNC to delay it from coming.

estrogen cream? I never heard of that before, but if at this point it plans on coming right before, I'm willing to try anything. any crazy side effects?

I didn't have any side effects when I used it before my vacation. I think it helped delay my period by a day or two. You rub it on the insides of your wrists, your thighs and your belly. I don't think it's good for your long term (increased estrogen risks) but for a one time spot treatment, you should be fine.

I thought about going on the pill for this exact reason, but my body hates it any time I've tried it. I bleed for 3 weeks and stop for 1. I also become a crazy lady. I figure, is it worth being a b*tch to *hopefully* not have it for one day? I am bummed because it looks like I am going to have it when I am in Miami for my bachelorette party, and also for part of my honeymoon.
But...when you go away for two weeks, you basically have a 50% chance of having it! Who knows, maybe the stress of the next 60 days will completely throw off my schedule!

Its stress related. The more you think about it the more you won't get it! Just relax it will come and everything will work out.

Re: Period for wedding
I found this website from one of the old boards you can use to see if you are going to have your period on your wedding. I doubt it's very reliable, but hey, why not give it a try!
