Period for wedding

Original post by kattus

I was supposed to start my period either Sunday or yesterday to be 'in the clear,' but it hasn't come. I'm trying not t get stressed so that it arrives today, but if it doesn't, then I am going to be one bloated, emotional, literal mess. any advice?

Do the deed :)

I agree. And it might help with the stress too. This isn't a joke

Fortunately it arrived around lunchtime, so I'll be on my 5th day for my wedding, which is usually light.

that's why i went to the Gyno in January and got on the pill, unfortunately they couldn't put me on the regular pill (i'm on the mini pill) you cant manipulate it but it's supposed to make it lighter. It's still not regulated and I only have 26 days to go, ugh! Good luck to you!!!

I can't take the pill...it makes me crazy and makes me bleed non stop. My doctor put me on Lysteda. I take one pill a day for the first 5 days of my period. It DRASTICALLY cuts down on the heavy bleeding. Maybe ask about that?

I cant take the pill either, what exactly is Lysteda?? Is it hormonal? It sounds wonderful since I usually have a really bad periods anyways.

BTW quick question to all, I am new here is there any other way to find your posts with out searching?

Lysteda is actually NOT hormonal which is why it works for me. My body can't handle the hormones. It just helps with heavy bleeding, so it won't treat any other symptoms. But I've used it for two months so far and love it.
