So I was totally set until February when my period was a whopping 11 days late... since then it shifted and now I'm scheduled to get it the day we land in Punta Cana for our honeymoon. I almost wish it'd be early and come the day of our wedding. Anything to have less period days on our HM. So bummed. And rain the entire weekend on LI for our wedding weekend.
I am miserable. Thanks for always listening to me vent.

I am sorry I am supposed to get it too for our second honeymoon in 2 weeks, but i am on the pill, so i actually am just going to start a new pack as soon as I finish my last active pill. I hope that for your sake, it comes late again, like after you get home!!

ahhh!! Sorry to hear that. I'm feeling nervous about mine as well. I'm working with the BCPs and trying so hard to make sure it's either a week late or I skip it all together.
Don't worry about the rain. It's still going to be a perfect day for you! And as for the HM, just pack lotsa tampons & midol. Maybe you'll luck out & it'll be off schedule due to all of the chaos going on the week of your wedding. Ya never know

DO NOT worry about the rain. It's too far away. I know everyone says it, but I just went through it. It was supposed to rain all day on my day, and it held out until 3pm or so - which allowed me to take ALL pictures outside AND have an outdoor ceremony!!!!! You will not care one bit even if it pours on your day, I promise you!!

well i just checked and the weather for my mom's area in nassau county says partly cloudy now. pray for me! i need something good. period and rain. how annoying.
i have never been on the pill. i actually joked with FH to get my pregs so i won't have it on the honeymoon. i'm a sicko. i wish i could take someone's pills.

haha. FH did the same thing. When I told him I might have it at the Wedding, he told me that he could always knock me up and that would take care our little problem I was like 'Umm, no! Because then we have an even BIGGER problem to deal with 9 months later!' haha. Sooo not worth it. You'll be fine. lol.

i was towards the end of aunt flo on my wedding day.. had rain all AM - I didn't care one bit.. whenever I need my pictures, it was clear and beautiful..we had an outside cocktail and took some wonderful pictures.. and of course rain on your wedding day is a good thing!!
so take it from a person who had both.. you will not care one bit.. it will be the most beautiful and magical day..

It's mother nature...you can't control the rain and too late to stop your period for the month. You are getting married...ENJOY IT!!!!

I was supposed to get it the morning of my wedding and it held out until the very end...I think I got it at 11pm and had it a few days on my honeymoon but it really didn´t stop me from doing anything.
Good luck with everything! Please trust me when I tell you I worried about everything and that day You just won{t care. There is something magical that happens on your wedding day and not much bothers you.
