A couple of you have said you are getting permanent French manicures for your wedding....can someone explain to me what exactly that is?
I'm guessing it isn't truly permanent - are they acrylic?
Thanks!!

It's tinted acrylic.

Re: Permanent French Manicure
I have permanent French now in fiber glass not acrylic. Fiber glass is much thinner and they are a lot stronger! I would try them.

Re: Permanent French Manicure
my permanent french is actually my nails wrapped in silk. before they wrap they paint in the white for the french with a powder - it stays until you cut it out. no acrylics used!

Re: Permanent French Manicure
mine are done like MrsMadness...i normally get silk wraps and instead of just getting the clear powder, my manicurist first puts on the white powder for the french and then does the clear powder over the whole nail...i've been doing this for a while and never had a problem...i like the way the french manicure looks so i have them always...it won't come off until you cut your nails or if you don't usually get wraps, you can soak your nails to get the wraps off

I actually have it already and my manicurist uses a white tip and then uses an acrylic overlay. It needs to be redone every6-7 weeks. Kind of a nuisence, but it looks great. I haven't had any problems with yellowing and I've had for over a year.

I have the same thing but mine do not have to be done that fast.

I love it - I can only say - I wish my hair grew as fast as my nails!
