For girls who live by permanent manicures - if I get it done the Thursday afternoon before my Sunday evening wedding, will it still look perfect?

Re: permanent french manicure question
That would depend on what you do between thursday and sunday. I don't get a permanent maicure, but I am planning to get my manicure the day before. (2 days at most.)

Re: permanent french manicure question
It depends on what you do for those days in between. It might look a little dull.
I have had permanent french manicures before and that is what I will have for my wedding. It drives me crazy when my nail polish chips.

Re: permanent french manicure question
anyone get that done near Great Neck?? I am looking for a good place that does that - this way I won't bite them or play with them b/c they will look good PLUS I make jewelry so my hands are always being used!

Re: permanent french manicure question
Permanent french is fantastic! I've been asked to post a picture of what they look like, I will have a picture posted Friday, being I'm having mine done on Thursday.
If you have them done 2 days before your wedding, they will look just fine. I get mine done every 4 - 5 weeks and its just for a fill. Every other fill, my tech redoes the tips because of her filing them back.

Does it make your nails weaker? like wraps?

Is the permanent much more expensive than the normal french? What is the price difference?

Re: permanent french manicure question
I stopped by Acqua Beauty bar in Union Square, and they quoted me $125.00. I thought that was a little much, so I think I will shop around.

Re: permanent french manicure question
Thanks for the info girls. I think I will get them done on Thursday since I'm sure it takes a while and it will be less hectic then rather than the Saturday before.
Shea- I sometimes have to go to work out in East Setauket, and in that case, I want to go where you recommended. I'm a sucker for perfection. However, it is kinda far from where I live if I don't have to go to work out there.
